[B]6 Fruits you can eat to prevent illness[/B]
The fruits of many common trees have medicinal value that most people do not know about. The following fruits for example, have properties that boost the immune system and also perform other function that prevent a lot of common ailments.

GUAVA
Guava plays a preventive and beneficial role in our body. Both the fruits and the leaves are a good source of vitamins. It is a major source of vitamin A, B, and C, a fact which explains its energizing effects on our bodies. Regular consumption of guava, both ripe and unripe contributes to strenghten the immune system.

PAPAYA (PAWPAW)
The Pawpaw fruits contains an enzyme known as papain, which has amazing healing qualities. Pawpaw is also effective in healing cold sores on the lips and inside the mouth. Consuming pawpaw regularly prevents constipation. People who are prone to constipation, the moment they start taking pawpaw regularly they no longer experience the problem. Chewing the seed is also recommended for the prevention of stomach upset and instestinal worm. It also helps to prevent malaria fever.

MANGO
Mangoes are rich in vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus and protein. They also have the highest vitamin A content of any fruits, tropical or otherwise which make them beneficial for anyone with cataracts, glaucoma or any eye problems. These people should eat two to four mangoes or drink one or two glasses of fresh or canned juice daily.
Furthermore, mango juice reduces fever and excessive body heat, making it a natural preventive and curative remedy for women going through menopause, who usually suffer from hot flashes.
Pregnant women who suffer from morning sickness, or people who suffer from motion sickness when they travel can prevent or at least reduce to a minimum, these conditions if they drink one or two glasses of pure mango juice daily.

AVOCADO PEAR
Avocado is very nutritious and a very high source of iron and unsaturated fatty acids. It is recommended as a prevention against thrombosis in the case of hypertension, arteriosclerosis, and whenever there are risk or predisposition factors towards blood disorders.
Apart from eating the fruit, boiling the leaves and drying is also recommended for hypertensive patients.

LEMON
Lemon contains vitamins B1, B2 and C, mineral salts, - especially those of potassium- trace elements, sugars, mucilages, organic acids- citric, malic, acetic and formic- and flavonoids.
The uses of lemon are many, but regular consumption of lemon prevents stomach upset and indigestion.
Lemon has a febrifuge effect when taken to prevent cold and influenza. It is also an antiseptic for preventing bacteria infections.

ORANGE
Orange is one of the most appreciated fruit
throughout the world especially for its vitamins C content. Taking orange regularly, prevents the following ailments; scurvy, fatigue and asthenia.
It also acts against thrombosis, arteriosclerosis and circulation dysfunctions in general. Oranges provide a protective effect on blood vessel, due to vitamin P, among other substances.
